I didn't no what to expect when i got this book,i i got a sample of it for my kindle simply for the fact i liked the front cover and it looked like a book i would enjoy. After reading the sample i really wanted to read the book! I picked it up while my house was busy getting done and promised "one chapter while i wait" i didn't put it down! a few hours later i was still there reading away!
The book is brilliant, the story line is great and beyond what i expected, some parts made me laugh and other cry and i think the thing that made it better for me was the very real to life edge the book had. Althougth the love story between Jacqueline is somewhat funny watching her try and manipulate him and sad when you find out his past, i think the part of the story about rape sent a powerful message! i thought that in particular was very well done, it wasn't skirted over and was highlighted in a way that encouraged people to talk and seek help. I think the sensitive subject of attacks and rape was in contrast to the love story and made an emotional roller costar happen!

I loved Jacqueline even though i spent a lot of the book going you dare go back to your ex and my kindle is getting thrown! She was such a strong character and i liked that she wasn't all wussy! And i loved Lucas and i mean i actually swooned! from the moment he looked in her truck to the end page i loved him! he has such a masculine protective nature and i loved that but equally he is just so sweet and vulnerable!

seriously if you haven't read it yet do it.... now! I've just went out an bought it again on paperback!
Heart wrenching, addictive and beautiful!
5*
