Goodreads:
Lilly Thompson just wanted to get her ride along time with Sergeant Jake Simmons over and done. She needed to complete three shifts with the Sheriff's Department to complete her internship for school. Just when she thought she was finished, she makes a stupid mistake in the last moments of her time spent with Jake. If he doesn't give her a good report, she fails her internship. When he tells her he can't give her the report she wants because of her mistake she begs, pleads and is willing to do anything to correct the mistake. But there's only one way Jake will relent and give her a good report, and it involves handcuffs and naked bodies. Lilly wonders how far Jake will go with his punishment. Little does she know that Jake plans to take it all the way and then some! How long can Lilly resist his dark passion? Will she turn and run...or will she submit to the deepest pleasure she has ever known?

Lilly is so close to her dream career but when she is reading with Jake the cop on her placement there is a call in for a house robbery. Arriving on the seen Jake warns Lilly to stay in the car, but after several minutes he has not returned so her goes and looks for him, the front door to the house is open so she goes in, suddenly she is grabbed! Luckily it is Jake but he has hunger in his eyes. He has to right up a report of the incident that will mean Lilly could fail, but he is prepared to offer a deal. Will she submit and responded to his advances to save her career?

I've read a few books by this author and have got used to her writing style.  I had this book on my kindle so decided to give it a read. It is half way through a series of books but from what i cant tell they do not like in to each other directly. I have to say i thought the book could have been better. It was obviously meant to be a short story but i thought the content was poor. If a man had forced himself on me and made me feel like i had to have sex with him to save my career it would not have been the erotic fantasy portrait in the book am afraid i would have ran. Also if i then found out that it was his house and it was all just a plan to get me in bed i would have punch him and reported him not then waddled off to get in the hot tub with him. In that sense the book was unrealistic and someone creepy.

If you like that kind of thing then read it but this book wasn't for me.

Hate at First sight Blog Tour

Hey everyone welcome to the hate at first sight blog tour and do i have a valentines day treat for you! it comes in the form of an interview with Diana about the book!! hope you enjoy it!!

Hello Diana! Here are my questions for the Hate at first sight Tour

Hate at first sight is so different from the Love Lines series, what made you want to write a different type of story?
-          It wasn’t my idea, lol My editor once said that my ‘intimate’ scenes from Love Lines books were so well written:) I laughed at her words, and then I sat and thought “Why not trying?” So I started writing Hate at First Sight, hoping to make this love story different from so many other stories of the same genre. Have I succeeded? I don’t know:) But I want to believe that I have:)

Did you enjoy writing something different to the love lines series
-          Very much:) Finally I let those quite innocent kisses from Love Lines become more passionate and breathtaking:) Besides, I didn’t have to think about the new spells and curses; I simply enjoyed writing, and loved the result:)

Was there any inspiration that gave you the idea for Hate at First Sight?
-          A very provocative question, lol Let’s just say that I wrote a romance that I would love to read myself:)

What was your favourite part of Hate at first sight?
-          I give in, Nicola!:) Of course most of all I enjoyed working on “fighting” scenes, trying Aiden’s and Megan’s patience and making their attitude and ‘hate’ for each other burn down everything on the way to the love beyond description:)

Did you enjoy writing a steamer book more than the Love Lines series and did you encounter any challenges?
-          I can’t say that I enjoyed it more than LL. These are two completely different stories; each has something special and interesting to work on. The biggest challenge of Hate at First Sight was to show the resistance and ‘hate’ between the main characters, and turn it into something completely different. I wanted my readers to be intrigued by every page they turn, dying to see what will happen next between those two impossible creatures:)

What was your favourite thing about writing a contemporary book?
-          The fact that I could finally forget about the age or reading audience, lol AND create funny situations that will make you smile more than once:)

What was your favourite thing about the characters in the novel?
-          Their passionate natures and their desire to be the best in everything they do.  I like strong characters, you know?:)

Are we going to here anymore of Megan’s story?
-          Do you want to?:) I should think about that, because it’s not the first time I get this question.
Are they anymore steamy romances on the way?
-          Yes:) At the moment I’m working on a New Adult romance, named Love Undone. And  I promise, it will be steamy and unforgettable:)

Thank you for your time =)
