I really enjoyed this book. i have to admit  when i read the first few pages and saw murder and sex i wasn't sure this was a book for me but am glad i kept reading. the book is clear to read. there is a lot of tricks and turns, action, romance.. everything. the book isn't long short and sweet.some scenes are heart breaking! and some u want to punch something.

I loved most of the characters.... the ones your supposed to like, Elaine is lovely, i feel sorry for losing her dad, then i was laughing with her, getting angry with her. I am hoping that the relationship between her and nick works out i cant wait to read the next book and see what happens am hoping the accusations against him a false!!

an amazing book i would fully recommend it! 4*

Wrong place Wrong Time
David P. Perlmutter

This was the first book i have read about someones life. I've read some autobiography's but most of them are just celebs moaning that their water was two degrees warmer than what they'd like, this book on the other had was amazing!

The book is the true story of the life of David. at 27 David found himself with a good job in property in the centre of London clinching the sale of his life, he had everything to go with it, the car, the apartment everything, but one night of celebrating his success changed his life forever! on a night out to celebrate his success Dave gets arrested for drunk driving, he later loses his job, apartment and car, he moves back with his parents and spirals in to depression! In an attempt to start a new Dave makes the decision to leave his life in England behind and go to Spain for the summer! Dave leads the ultimate party life meeting new friends, partying and drinking every night and holiday romances, with people more than willing to buy him drinks. But when his savings start to dwindle and employment is  hard to find he finds his life taking another dramatic turn. penniless Dave finds himself on the streets with no money, no food, no belongings and no way of getting home. Then a ray of light appears in front of him by the name of Rosa,  rekindling their romance Rosa takes Dave in and in no time there out to party, but what Dave didn't no was this moment would change his life forever! when the party gets heated between Rosa and her longing friend Dave decides to take a walk. when smoke starts to appear in the distance Dave goes to investigate and is horrified by what he sees! a hotel is ablaze with people still trapped inside.  Dave puts his life on the lining jumping a 7 foot fence and climbing a 30 foot drainpipe to save  a woman from a balcony that would have other wise been killed! with a taste for heroism and alcohol still i his system Dave enters the burning building in an attempt to save lives and once again comes out the building with an elderly man! going for one last look Dave re-enters the building but finds no other people... he does on the other had find two credit cards and some change, in his desperate state he pockets them and leave. once outside he believes he is safe... till police come charging at him, Dave his arrested and taken to the police station and dumped in a cell with nothing but a class of water and an orange to sustain him. but his life is once again about to take a dramatic turn.. when Dave is read his charges not only is he being charged with theft he is being charged with manslaughter and arson! with the help of Paul the journalist Dave is realised on bail. but is Paul really all he claims to be? with Dave planing to run back to England he discovers that Paul has be publishing stories that claim he was responsible for the fire! with 35 miles to the nearest airport and time not on his side will Dave made it back to England with his family or will he be sentenced for a crime he didn't commit?

this book was amazing... i mean truely amazing! i felt very honoured to be allowed to see in to daves life.  throught the book you see his good times and in some places laugh along with him! and in others you feel his unter desperation! i cried so much when reading this book it is emotional. i could not believe that so much bad luck had happened to one man! it made me think a great deal about how once moment.. one stupid little moment can change the course of your whole life!
The story was heart wrenching the way dave is treated by police and all the hard ships he goes through but his parents and families support is heartwarming!
I thought what dave did was amazing he saved two lives that day! two people that when back home to there families because of him!
The book is an amazing read! i was hooked from the first few pages and couldnt stop reading! The writing style is brilliant and i loved it!

i would highly recommend wrong place wrong time! i think dave is an inspirtaion to show that even the very worst situations can have a good outcome and this story is worth being heard! 5*

Music or Death
David Owen

I have read a few dystopian books in the past so i had high hopes for this book and boy i was not disappointed!

Music , media ,art , technology all things that enrich our lives giving a feeling or harmony and self expression allowing us to be our selves and have individual tastes! but what would happen if this technology was used against us? what would happen if self expression became a thing of the past and conformity and obedience became the thing of the future?
This is the worlds that Cain finds him self in! music has been taken away and destroyed and with it peoples memories leaving people unable to remember music and in Cains case his parents! all forms of media have been over thrown by the government, the only music to be heard is the government anthem, played everyday the anthem is like a drug to the music staved population in an attempt to stop crime and force order, how you as in punishment to crime the anthem is withheld! Cain works in a small restaurant full of crimesound officials!  In a desperate attempt to escape this life Cain steels a gun and plans to end his life. His plans are halted when the restaurant comes under attack. he finds himself  thrown in to the world of the MOD (music or death) a group that fights to bring back music and defend the helpless. but when there leader Devin starts suggesting outlandish plans that threaten the life of innocent people Cain must make a decision whether Devin is right  and this is for the benefit of the people or whether to take a different path and follow his gut. will he follow Devin or or fight back to save lives?

I loved this book! i have never read anything like it!  i know a lot of us think about what it would be like without your ipod or phone but this book made me think what it would be like to never listen to music again! to never be able to even rum a tune  as a musician ... scary stuff! The book was action packed with twisted at every turn! there was never a dull moment! it will literally have you gripped from the first page!

I loved Cain! i though it was nice to see the character in both a vulnerable and strong state. when he is introduced to the reader Cain wants to end is life, hes even willing to risk steeling a gun of a government official! you really feel is desperation to get out out of this situation. when he is working with MOD you can feel his feelings of excitement and determination that he has a chance to make a difference to help people who were like him! you can also feel is sorrow that the people around him have memories of music and family and he doesn't! when he is faced with the choice to rather take drastic action that means innocent people the people he should be helping will die or walk away you see a real internal struggle, it is this that i loved most about this book i found Cain really easy to relate to because you see such normal human thoughts played out! should he take part in this, would it make a difference, would his partners want him to do this.... this are all questions i could imagine asking myself! it is also this feelings that keep you guessing, will he do it? wont he? i have to say i  was on the end of my seat!

Music or Death was an amazing read once i started i couldn't stop! i read it in two sits! i would highly recommend it and i can't wait for the next one

Fifty Shades Darker
E. L. James

I didn't have high hopes for this book after reading Fifty Shades Of Grey but i have to say i found it better then the first one!

After a heart breaking split from Christen Ana finds herself once again in his presence and feeling that magnetic charge between then forming again.  Ana's life seems to be changing for the better when she starts her new job and christen confesses his love for her and decides to leave his old life in the dark behind for a future together. but will Ana's happiness last? with doubt about her abilities to satisfy christens needs heightened when an old sub comes in to the picture,  the interference from christens ex Dom  Mrs Robinson and christens life changing secret Ana is over whelmed with emotion and doubt about christens baggage. when charlie tango goes missing Ana  is devastated fortunately christen returns unharmed but was it really and accident or something more sinister? and although she has christen and a promise of a new life and home will there happiness last or will the darkness consume them both again?

I have to say i liked this book better than the 1st one. the writing style i still find poor. this book had a lot more storyline than the first one although there is still alot of sexual content it seems more dulled down and more relevant to fit the storyline. there is alot more excitement in this book the interference from Elena, christens mad ex sub returning and all the problems christen has with Ana's ex-boss and the crash of charlie tango! i  found that i got involved with the relationship more, i found myself smiling and awwwing at christen which was unexpected after his hard and careless demeanour in the first book.

Ana is still the most irritating character. am sorry to say the " my inner goddess" did not stop in the 2nd book and she moans and complains more than ever!
christen on the other hand i loved in this book! he was just so sweet and it was so unexpected. you really get to see the real christen in this book! you learn more about his horrid past and see his fears and doubts played out, you get to see hes sweet caring insecure side and after the first book it was refreshing.

I am going to read the 3rd book after reading this one! although i still don't see what all the hype was about the book was not as bad as i expected! i doubt i would read it again but am glad i give it a chance.
i would give this book 3*
