Goodreads: Down on her luck, nursing student and full-time waitress Kara Foster gets a massive blow to her already desperate financial situation that will surely find her living on the streets. Needing nothing less than a miracle to save her, Kara gets rescue from an unknown, unlikely and overwhelming source. Billionaire Simon Hudson makes her an offer that is impossible to refuse, but terrifying to accept from a man that she's never met. Will the handsome, alpha billionaire really be a solution to her problems, or will he end up being a major complication and a danger to her emotional sanity?
Reclusive billionaire Simon Hudson would rather be behind a computer creating computer games than rubbing elbows with the elite and he knows exactly what he wants...until he meets Kara Foster. Something about Kara touches Simon in ways he's never experienced and definitely doesn't like. For over a year, Simon watches over Kara, but stubbornly refuses to admit his desire to possess her, not even to himself. But when she ends up in a situation that could very well be her destruction, Simon steps up to help her, not realizing that in saving Kara, he might very well be salvaging his own soul.

Nursing student Kara is down on her luck, shes been struggling since the death of her parents constantly fighting to survive. Juggling Work and school she is exhausted and her day gets a whole lot worse when she spills coffee down her clothes meaning she has to accept her friends barley there clothing. After work her day gets worse when she almost passes out in the street from a virus. luckily her bosses son Simon was there to save her and take her to his house. little did she know Simon has been watching her a long time just wishing to have her in his bed. Kara's life takes another turn for the worst when she finds out her flat mate has taken all of her stuff and shes been evicted from her flat. worried about where she is going to live and how to get on her feet Simon offers her everything, she can live with him he will buy her things and financially support her on one condition....... she stops working........ and he can have one night with her fully surrendered, will she submit to his charm or walk away?

I got this book on my kindle free from amazon so i thought i would give it a chance. It was a nice short story so i could read it in one sit. i thought the story line was ok and i enjoyed. I thought they could have been more to the story but for the 55 pages it wasn't bad,
i do question why like christian grey he has loads of money its a bit like a teenage girls childish fantasy to have a rich man on the plus i liked this book better than fifty shades Simon was far less irritating than christian. I think it might have been better to put at least the first two books together as not significant happens in the first book and there's no build she up, she loses everything stays in a strangers house then has sex with him the it just ends, the ending is so random i would have preferred it to have some meaning its like the story just ends in the middle of a book there's no cliff hanger or anything her puts her in her room she rolls over sad ans has a dream and it just ends. I just thought there was something missing.

I liked the characters, i found Simon to be over baring and irritating but like all stereotype erotic dominant men he has deep wounds , i would to see a dominant character without underlying heart break. i know it is supposed to create the illusion of being soft underneath and vulnerable but you can do that without him being emotionally scared. I liked Kara he was determined and independent. I really felt for her, you see the vulnerable side in the hopeless situation she is in.

a nice little read
2*
