I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book so on payday it happened to appear on my kindle. After the end of the last book i was chomping at the bit to read it and boy oh boy it did not disappoint! I loved how the story picked up from the last book and as always  you got little snip-its of information when required to keep up with the story and that's all so your constantly guessing. I couldn't get enough of this book from beginning to end, i was reading some of it going ‘ no! Just no that can not be happening’  i loved how the book jumped from romance to action to helplessness to determination, you are clinging to the end of your seat throughout the book amazed at what is happening.  The book like the rest of the series is amazingly written and the plot is equally amazing. It was a bit slow starting but you needed the information to understand the book. There are parts of the book when you cant believe what is happening , you feel every emotion the characters go through. I could not believe the end! OMG i was speechless, without a doubt this has been the best book in the series. At some points i want to scream as characters you trusted from the beginning have a shady secret but shhhhh you will have to read that for yourself!

I promise if you fell in love with daemon in obsidian you will love him even more in this book! the determination and love he has for kat will have your heart melting! It is unusual in this book to see a more helpless side to daemon when he is trying to get kat back, but his arrogant self is there especially when he is burning the world down to get kat back. I loved kat in this book she was as amazing and strong as always. there a few new characters who i promise you will love!
